From what i have read in the link above i have understood that no matter what sex you are you shouldn't depreciate, the pay, work hours, a contracts time between a man or a woman. There are some exceptions under this law when an organization only needs females to work or only two males in the organization for example a refuge for abused women.

The employer has to give the employee a length of time they are going to terminate their contract with the company. They are also entitled to a written statement of particulars of employment also the statement can be given in installments and should not be given no later than two months.
National Minimum Wage Act - http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1998/39/contents
All workers that are over the age of 18, they should be paid at least the minimum wage and more if that's what the company offers. the national minimum wage for when you are on a apprenticeship the lowest you can be paid is £2.65 per hour.

This requires all organizations provide facilities for disabled persons to work or enter a building.
Race Relations Act - http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1976/74/contents
This is the act where no one should be judged or left out because of their race, religion, nationality etc.
